ZappQ TV is a dedicated companion application within the ZappQ environment. Its sole purpose is to serve as a real-time waiting room dashboard in clinics or offices, displaying only active token calling numbers and doctor cabin status.
2. Data Collection and Usage
No Personal Data Collection: ZappQ TV does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, location details, device IDs, or user credentials.
The application only downloads and renders live status information (token numbers) fetched directly from the ZappQ display dashboard.
3. Device Permissions & Rationale
To deliver an uninterrupted queue presentation on TV displays, the app requests the following system permissions:
- Internet Access: Required to connect to the ZappQ server and fetch real-time token/cabin updates.
- Start at Boot: Enables the screen to load and start the queue display automatically when the TV turns on.
- Draw Over Other Apps: Used to maintain the queue screen on top without being closed by the system background manager.
4. Data Sharing & Security
Since ZappQ TV does not collect or log personal data, no data is sold, traded, or shared with third parties. All network communication to retrieve token numbers is done securely using standard HTTPS encryption.
